This series explores a complex world where the luxury of clean water or the life of a small, pampered plastic toy collides with real-world struggles. As the artist, I use these contrasts to reflect on my own feelings about our world.

Plastic toy dinosaurs have revelations that they are created from their deteriorated fossils, toy chickens prance around as dinosaurs' feathered descendants and rubber ducks meet and reconcile themselves with actual ducks. Scribbles become creatures. There is never a resolution, just a necessity to discover new questions. 

Created in acrylic pens, watercolor, gold, and pencil, as well as dirt and egg yolk and oil paint, this series plays with concepts of object, perspective, and value - the animals encourage the viewer to interpret and explore perceptions of personal, social, and political structures. And to
