figurative

Figures have been at the heart of my work for as long as I can remember — from early cartoon doodles as a kid to more recent explorations of women in my family, drawn across generations. Over time, my focus has shifted toward how people relate to one another — how closeness and distance show up not just physically, but emotionally. The space between bodies can hold tension, comfort, longing, or absence. I’m drawn to those in-between places — where connection flickers, where personal boundaries soften or hold firm, especially in relationships with siblings, partners, parents, and close friends.
